Bounty dates are the solution for anyone who is a fan of Bounty, but looking for a healthier version. Dates may not be the first thing you think of when you think of a sweet snack, but did you know that you can make very surprising treats or snacks with dates? After all, you can fill and coat them with the most delicious ingredients. By now you have surely already seen the dates with dark chocolate and peanut butter, but what about Bounty dates? A filling of coconut with a layer of dark chocolate. Tasty, nutritious and also very easy to make.

What you need:

8 Medjoul dates
30 gr grated coconut
+ extra for garnish
150 gr dark chocolate
3 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp coconut oil
pinch of sea salt
8 pieces

What to do:

Melt the dark chocolate au bain marie and mix the coconut rind with the coconut oil and honey until sticky.

Cut the dates in half lengthwise and remove the stone.

Fill the dates with the coconut mixture and press well. Close the dates as far as you can again. They do not have to be completely closed.

Roll the dates through the dark chocolate and place on a plate or baking sheet. Top with a little sea salt and extra coconut zest. Place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
