Christmas desserts

To be honest, I myself am always more of the starters and main courses. I just love savory. Still, I like to go out with desserts because they always look so pretty. Would you prefer a turban but a dish that is ready in 5 minutes? Then try this passion fruit tiramisu or this oreo mousse.

What you need:

230 gr spelt flour
100 gr self-rising baking flour
+ extra to dust
3 eggs
6 passion fruits
100 ml of milk
150 gr unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp vanilla essence
50 gr sugar
pinch of salt
100 gr white chocolate
50 gr coconut rind
butter to grease
1 turban

What to do:

1

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and grease the turban with butter and dust with flour. Pat out the excess flour.

2

Mix the spelt flour with the self-rising baking flour, 3/4 of the coconut, baking powder and salt. Mix the applesauce, pulp of 2 passion fruits, the sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla essence in another bowl.

3

Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir well.

4

Pour the batter into the turban tin. Tap the tin on the countertop for a moment to get all the air bubbles out.

5

Slide the turban into the oven for 25-30 minutes. Check with a skewer to see if it is done. Let the cake cool completely before cutting it.

6

Melt the chocolate au bain marie and drizzle over the sides. Let harden for a few minutes and then garnish with the remaining passion fruit pulp and coconut.
