Cocktail with watermelon

The watermelon mimosa is a refreshing and summery take on the classic mimosa. This cocktail combines the sweetness of fresh watermelon with the sparkling bubbles of prosecco or champagne. The origins of the mimosa date back to the 1920s, when it was first served at the Paris Ritz hotel. The traditional recipe consists of equal parts orange juice and champagne, but the Watermelon Mimosa capitalizes on the trend of fruity cocktails with a tropical twist.

Making a watermelon mimosa is simple: start by mashing fresh watermelon to a smooth liquid. Pour this into a glass and top it off with chilled prosecco or champagne. Add a little lime juice for extra freshness, if desired. This cocktail is perfect for summer brunches, garden parties or as a refreshment on a hot day. This cocktail with watermelon offers a delicious way to enjoy summer!
