In the center of Venray, Bar Altro opened its doors in the summer of 2024, and I was allowed to capture this beautiful new establishment and its menu. The name was inspired by the Italian "un altro, per favore," or "just one more, please."
At the helm is Janne. Not happy with her job in accountancy, she decided to change course completely. After a few years of gaining experience in the hospitality industry in Nijmegen, she now has her own business. For me an inspiring example of following your heart and going for something full of passion.
Bar Altro is the place to have a nice drink and the drink menu is fantastic. The homemade risotto croquettes were perhaps the most delicious I have ever eaten. Come see (and taste) that!
