Rochella

Imagine turning 30, flying all your friends in to a villa near Valencia and organizing a three-day festival to celebrate this special milestone: friend Rosie did it with her own Rochella. And I had the honor of capturing this special weekend. Qué guay!

Flashy photos

Fiestas like this call for flash - think bright flashes of light on glittery dresses and sunglasses in the dark. The theme was Coachella, so: fringe, metallics, lots of glitter and zero chill on the dance floor. There was laughter, jumping, sweating, partying. The outfits were bold, the energy high, and every nook and cranny felt like a mini-stage. Flash captured all that as it really was: raw, chaotic, alive.

Art in every corner

I see art in every corner. The custom-made cowboy hat thrown casually on the bed after a long night. Glasses glistening in the morning light, half full and forgotten. The cake that was cut first and then, while dancing, eaten with hands together. Everything is messy, real, full of life - and that is precisely what makes it beautiful. Party is art - not posed perfection, but chaos with a golden edge. Thanks dear Rosie for this amazing weekend.
